Police are investigating a fatal skid-steer incident that left one man dead on June 17.
On Tuesday, June 17 at about 2:35 p.m., a skid-steer loader operated by a 55-year-old male was working on a sidewalk development near Edgemont Link and Edgemont Boulevard when he reversed into a 57-year-old male worker.
Edmonton Medical Services (EMS) responded to the scene, but the male was declared deceased.
The Major Collision Investigations Section of the Edmonton Police Service (EPS) are taking the case, as the accident took place on a roadway. Alberta Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) are also working with the investigation.
