On June 28 at approximately 8:15 p.m., Thorsby/Breton RCMP responded to a collision involving a Dodge Ram and a Chevrolet Silverado on Highway 778 and Township Road 490.
The two occupants of the Silverado, a 31-year-old female and a 30-year-old male were pronounced dead at the scene.
The 41-year-old driver of the Ram was taken to a local medical centre to be assessed for injuries.
Although the collision is under investigation, RCMP believe that the Ram was headed westbound on Township Road 490 and failed to stop at the stop sign where it collided with the Silverado heading northbound on Highway 778.
