Strathcona County RCMP Announce public Safety Showcase

Strathcona County RCMP have announced that they will be hosting an Emergency Services and Public Safety Showcase at the Salisbury Composite High School Parking Lot on Friday, August 1.

The event will provide a great opportunity for the public to interact and talk with emergency services and public safety agencies from the area.

Many agencies and organizations will be hosting information booths, vehicles and equipment displays, including the RCMP and Enforcement Services, Emergency Services, Enviromental Services, MADD Edmonton & Area Chapter, Edmonton Regional Search and Rescue and more.

The event is open to the public and everyone is invited to come and interact with various Emergency Services in ways that they’re not normally able to.

The Alberta RCMP recruiting team will also be set up as well. If you’re looking to pursue a career in law enforcement, this is a great opportunity to learn more about what it’s like.

The Public Safety Showcase is on August 1 at the Salisbury Composite High School parking lot at 20 Festival Way in Sherwood Park. The event starts at 11 a.m. and runs until 2 p.m..
