Fort Saskatchewan RCMP are on the scene of a house fire on 52 Avenue in Lamont. The call came in at approximately 1 a.m. on the morning of July 4.
An RCMP news release noted that at least two homes were affected by the fire. Police are still on the scene.
An RCMP spokesperson said that there have been no reported injuries at this time, but that neither police nor firefighters have been able to enter the home.
The investigation into the incident is still in the early stages, with an update anticipated.
