Fort Sask. Disc Golf opening delayed

The Grand Opening for Fort Saskatchewan’s newest attraction, the West River’s Edge disc golf course, has been delayed.

In a news release sent out by the city yesterday, the event has been postponed while the “final touches” are being put onto the course. The city states that they “want to make sure everything is ready before we officially open it to the public.”

The event was originally set to open on July 16 at 1:30 p.m., with a “Try Out Disc Golf” event taking place after the opening ceremony.

The city has not released a new date or time, although one is expected in the near future.
