Evansburg RCMP have arrested a Saskatchewan resident after a suspicious vehicle complaint was made at a campground.
RCMP members went to investigation and noted the vehicle as well as a 2014 Crossroads travel trailer which was found to have bene stolen from Acheson on July 12 of this year.
The suspect was arrested, and it was noted that he has several warrants for unpaid fines totaling $10,000.
“We would like to thank the public for taking the time to call in the suspicious vehicle” said Cpl Darren Ryan of the Evansburg RCMP. “It is important for the public to call in suspicious activity so that we can better fight criminality within our communities and keep everyone and their hard-earned possessions safe”.
51-year-old Saskatoon resident Joshua Stricker was charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000 and failure to comply with a release order. He was remanded into custody and is set to appear before the Alberta Court of Justice in Stoney Plain on July 23.
