Fort Saskatchewan Minor Baseball has been awarded a $3,000 grant through the city’s Tourism Hosting Grant program to support the U11 AA Red Sox Provincial Championships which will be taking place at Turner Park from July 25 to 27.
The Tourism Hosting Grant provides funding to local organizations to help attract large-scale events that bring visitors to the Fort, creating a positive economic and community focused impact.
“We’re incredibly grateful for the City’s support through the Tourism Grant,” said Jason Geiger, President of Fort Saskatchewan Minor Baseball. “This funding played a key role in helping us bring this tournament to life, and we’re proud to showcase our community to teams from across the province.”
This event will bring some top young athletes from across the province to Fort Saskatchewan to compete.
