A large, slow-moving load will be travelling through the Edmonton area. Due to its size and weight, the load can only travel at a maximum of 30 km/h and will be travelling with pilot and guide vehicles. It will take up the entire width of the highway including the shoulder and will sometimes be travelling against the flow of traffic. Lanes will be blocked off accordingly.

- Highway 15 westbound closure (park at Highway 15 wide spot by Lamont)
During the day on Thursday (Feb. 13)

- Highway 15 westbound counterflow for 1.4 km
- Range Road 214 North
- exit west into site (Shell Scotford Complex)
The load is an EO Reactor used in the oil refining process and weighs 1,766,400 kg. The reactor is 9.8 metres wide, 9.3 metres high, and 141 metres long. The trailers carrying it will have a total of 832 wheels.
