The Fort Sask water tower is leaking…again

It’s déjà vu all over again: Fort Saskatchewan’s iconic water tower has sprung another leak, distinct from the one that occurred in August 2023.

The 150-foot-tall sentinel, standing since 1956, seems to be confirming the adage that history repeats itself. While the previous leak was addressed promptly, the current situation has residents and officials once again turning their attention to the aging structure. The city has yet to release details on the cause of this new leak or the steps planned for its repair. As always, residents are encouraged to stay updated through official city communications for the latest information.
