Get ready to huddle up for a cause! The third annual 24-Hour Flag-A-Thon kicks off at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 13 at Taurus Field in Fort Saskatchewan, running non-stop until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 14. This continuous flag football marathon isn’t just about touchdowns — it’s about raising vital funds for the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation.
Whether you’re four or 65, this inclusive community event welcomes all skill levels and ages. Teams of 10 can be made up of anyone — from families and friends to association players and coaches. Each team will take to the field for a one-hour game, with a full day of action spread across the entire event.
Getting involved is easy: form a team, sponsor, volunteer, or donate. Once a team registers, they’ll receive a fundraising link to support the Stollery’s lifesaving work.
With football, fun, and a heartfelt mission, the Flag-A-Thon is more than just a game — it’s a full-day celebration of community spirit and giving back. So lace up your cleats, rally your team, and be part of something bigger than the scoreboard. Whether you’re scoring touchdowns or cheering from the sidelines, you’re helping change lives at the Stollery — no whistles, pads, or experience required.
