A man died in a motorcycle accident this weekend when a Harley Davidson hit the drivers-side of a left-turning Acura on Winterburn Road on Saturday evening.
The 26-year-old motorcycle rider was attempting to pass the Acura at the time. The rider and bike were both sent flying into the northwest ditch.
Police say that they do believe speed to be a factor.
The Acura was turning left from Winterburn Road onto Westview Boulevard, when it was hit by the motorcycle which was driving on the left of the centreline.
An investigation is still ongoing in the accident, and anyone with information or dashcam footage of the crash is asked to call the police at 780-423-4567.
