Plane Crash at Cooking Lake Airport Sparks Grass Fire

Strathcona County RCMP and Emergency Services responded Monday to a small plane crash at Cooking Lake Airport that ignited a minor grass fire.

The aircraft had only one person on board, who is currently being assessed by Emergency Medical Services. No further details about the individual’s condition have been released.
