The Glorious Sons and Triumph to perform at “Rogers Festival at the Final”

The Glorious Sons will be taking center stage before game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals tonight in Edmonton, alongside rock group Triumph. 

Two legendary Canadian groups, with the Glorious Sons hailing from Kingston, Ontario, and Triumph calling Mississauga home. 

“We’re thrilled to bring Triumph to the Rogers Festival at the Final, building on the success of our ad campaign that introduced a whole new generation of music fans to this iconic band,” said Terrie Tweddle, Chief Brand and Communications Officer for Rogers. “Together with The Glorious Sons we know Oilers fans will enjoy a fantastic show ahead of Game 2.”

Performances will begin at 3:40 p.m. in the Play Alberta Fan Park in the Ice District. The concert is completely free to attend, fans simply need to scan their LOILTY reward QR code to gain access to this legendary performance. Portions of the performances will be shown during the main Stanley Cup Finals broadcast, starting at 5:30 p.m. on Sportsnet, CBC and TVA Sports. 

Triumph will be starting the performance with a 3-song act, including their hit “Lay it on the Line”, which has become an anthem for Canadian hockey fans this postseason.” Multiple-time Juno Award winners the Glorious Sons will then be taking the stage to perform their hits.
