The City of Fort Saskatchewan is celebrating Pride Month with a flag raising ceremony on June 13 from 6 to 7 p.m.
The flag raising ceremony launches Pride Week, which features different events hosted by the Fort Saskatchewan Family and Community Support Services (FCSS), the Fort Saskatchewan Library and the City itself from the 15th to 21st.
The event will be hosted rain or shine.
The Fort Saskatchewan Library has put up a Pride display featuring books by LGBTQIA2S+ authors and free pride pins. Other events include DIY rearview mirror hangers at the library on June 18 and the Chamber of Commerce Pride Market on June 19.
