The results of Strathcona County’s 2023 Public Satisfaction Survey (PSS) have been released, and they show a very positive outlook on the County from the perspective of the residents.
85 per cent of respondents rated the County infrastructure as good or very good, with only 4 per cent expressing dissatisfaction.
95 per cent of residents said that Strathcona County was an overall good place to live, with the same percentage agreeing that the County is a good place to raise children.
One of the lower rated statistics were when respondents were asked whether Strathcona County was a good place to start out in life, with 65 per cent of respondents voting positively and 11 per cent voting negatively.
Rural respondents also took the opportunity to express their dissatisfaction with the way that the county handles rural roadway maintenance. only 45 per cent of respondents were satisfied with the rural road maintenance during the summer, with 35 per cent stating their dissatisfaction.
91 per cent agree that Strathcona County is a safe community.
