Fort Saskatchewan has announced the re-opening of the Jubilee Recreation Centre after some significant modernization.
The grand re-opening celebration will be taking place on Monday, June 30 at 11 a.m.. A Public Open House will be hosted from 5 to 7 p.m. of the same day.
New key features include a renovated dressing room with expanded change rooms, an upgraded mechanical, electrical and refrigeration system, modernized HVAC and LED lighting and more accessibility-focused design upgrades.

“[The Jubilee Recreation Centre] has always held a special place in the hearts of Fort Saskatchewan residents,” says Mayor Gale Katchur. “This revitalization ensures it will continue to be a welcoming, functional, and safe place for recreation and community gatherings for generations to come. I invite everyone to come take a look—you’ll be impressed by what’s been done.”
