Highway 21 bridge closed due to grain bin collision

Strathcona County RCMP responded to a call just past noon on July 4 after a truck carrying a grain bin collided with the underside of the Highway 21 bridge over Highway 14, resulting in significant damage.

Police have advised that traffic on the highway 21 bridge is closed until assessments can be made, with traffic on Highway 14 having reduced speed.

No injuries have been reported as a result of the collision and there is currently no timeline as to when the bridge could re-open.
