Update: Strathcona County RCMP searching for missing elder

Strathcona County RCMP were looking for the public’s help in locating a missing 77-year-old man.

Donald Enyedy was last spotted in the area of Palisades Way in Sherwood Park on Sunday (Sep. 17) at around 2 a.m.

Police believed that Enyedy may be in the Sherwood Park area, or somewhere east of Sherwood Park. There was concern for his wellbeing, as Enyedy has medical issues and may be confused.

Enyedy was last seen wearing black dress pants, a turquoise golf shirt, and a black zipper jacket. He was also seen travelling in a gold 2014 Chrysler Town & Country van with a custom license plate reading ENYEDY.

Police have announced on Monday morning that Enyedy was located safe and sound.
