Moose sighting in Fort Saskatchewan

There was a moose spotted roaming a Fort Saskatchewan neighbourhood earlier this week.

On Tuesday (Oct. 3) evening, the moose was spotted in Southfort near Ridgeland Way. A concerned citizen posted about the sighting in a community Facebook group.

Another resident left a comment on the post with an image of the moose, showing it standing in the middle of the road after dark.

It is unknown what happened to the moose, but they have not been seen since Tuesday night.

Moose can be very dangerous during this time of year due to it being rutting season between September and early October.
