The annual Lite Up the Nite Christmas festival returns to Morinville later this month.
Between November 24 and 26, this three-day event celebrates family, community, and the holiday season.
Some of the events include a dance party at the Morinville Community Cultural Centre and a showing of christmas artifacts from the past at the Morinville Museum.
There will also be a Fill a Truck event to raise donations for the Morinville Food Bank, as well as the famous Lite Up The Nite parade, which is happening on November 25 at 5:30 p.m.
Finally, the night ends off with fireworks show at Notre Dame Park. The show is so big that you can watch it from almost anywhere in Morinville.
For those sensitive to the cold, there will also be free hot chocolate and an indoor parade viewing area. However, registration is required to watch the parade indoors.
There will also be live performances during the festival as well as photos with Santa, christmas carols, and cookie decorating.
You can see a full schedule of the festival by visiting the Town of Morinville website.
