Edmonton Police looking to identify robbery suspect

Edmonton Police Service are looking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a recent bank robbery.

The robbery happened on October 30 at a bank in the Walker Lake neighbourhood near Ellerslie Road and 50 Street.

According to police, the suspect approached the teller with a series of notes demanding money. The suspect did not produce a weapon, and no one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect apparently fled on foot and ran across the parking lot, where police believe he may have had an escape vehicle parked nearby.

The suspect is described as:

  • Male
  • Between 20 and 35 years old.
  • 5’7 to 5’9
  • Approximately 150 pounds
  • Black beard or moustache

The man was wearing light blue jeans, a grey hoodie, grey shoes, and black leather gloves during the time of the robbery.

Police are asking anyone with information on the suspects identity to contact EPS at 780-423-4567.
