Fort Saskatchewan’s annual Lights Up! holiday celebration happened at City Hall on Friday.
Starting at 5:15, there was plenty of activities, both indoor and outdoor. Outside there was fire pits and live entertainment, while inside there was model train displays, face painting, and caricature portraits.
There were also photo opportunities with Auggie the sheep, Jack Skellington, Olaf the snowman, and even Santa Claus himself in the back of the library.
The event ended off with a door prize draw, and a reading of A Visit from St. Nicholas by Mayor Katchur herself, just before the countdown to the lighting of the Christmas tree outside City Hall at 7:30.
