Firefighters respond to vehicle fire on Highway 15

There was a vehicle fire on Highway 15 over the weekend.

Just before 8:30 p.m. on Sunday evening, witnesses noticed the burning vehicle on the shoulder of the highway.

The incident was confirmed by the Radioyeg – Scanner Radio Twitter account, which reported that Edmonton Fire Rescue Services was on the scene of a vehicle fire on southbound Manning Drive after 17 Street NW.

A witness of the fire claims to have seen several people in the ditch.

The cause of the blaze or if there were any injuries is not yet known.
