City Centre Mall security assaulted with chains

There was an assault last month at City Centre Mall in Edmonton.

On November 26 at around noon, police responded to an assault at the mall. According to mall security, there was a group of three men blocking the doorway. When they were confronted by security, a fight broke out.

The security guards said that they were assaulted with chains and a lit cigarette, with one of the men reportedly smashing a glass panel with a metal pipe.

Security was able to hold all three of the men in custody as police arrived and arrested them.

Charges against the three men are still pending.
