Edmonton police looking for missing child

Edmonton police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 12-year-old girl.

Vada Baptiste was reported missing last Saturday, and she was last seen the day after leaving Millwoods Town Centre from entrance four on the building’s north side.

Baptiste is described as:

  • 5 foot 6 inches
  • 170 pounds
  • Short dark hair
  • Brown eyes

She was last seen wearing black cargo pants, a puffy black winter jacket, and wearing white sneakers and white sunglasses. She also had a black and pink backpack.

As her disappearance is considered out of character, police and her family are concerned for her wellbeing. Police say she is known to frequent Edmonton Public Libraries and Millwoods Town Centre.
