Honda has announced that they’ll be recalling nearly 300,000 vehicles in Canada.
These vehicles, released between 2017 and 2020, have a fuel pump defect which may lead to engine failure.
“Honda has not received any reports of crash or injury related to this issue,” the company said in a statement, adding that affected vehicle owners will be notified by the mail in March 2024.
Affected vehicles include the following Honda models:
- Accord
- Civic
- Clarity
- CR-V
- Fit
- HR-V
- Insight
- Odyssey
- Passport
- Ridgeline
Additionally, the certain models of Acura vehicles have also been recalled, including:
- ILX
- MDX
- NSX
- RDX
- RLX
- TLX
Throughout 2023 Honda recalled over 5 million vehicles in North America for issues such as seat belts, rust, and even rear cameras.
