Police looking for escaped inmate

Edmonton police are looking for an inmate who escaped from the Stan Daniels Healing Centre earlier this week.

According to police, William Mackinaw walked out of the centre on Thursday while serving a 23-year sentence for unlawful confinement and possession of a dangerous weapon.

A warrant has been issued for his arrest, with authorities believing that he may be headed to Enoch, Alberta.

Mackimaw is described as 45-years-old, 5’10”, and weighing 195 pounds.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts are asked to contact EPS at 780-423-4567.
