Crime spree suspect wanted by Edmonton police

Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect believed to be involved in five separate incidents.

Between January 8 and 9, a male suspect committed two robberies, a carjacking, an assault, and an attempted fraud in the north and west sides of the city.

The suspect is believed to be armed with a gun and is described as a black man between 35 and 45 years of age and standing around six feet tall.

Police say that the suspect was seen driving a green Volkswagen Jetta sedan and believe that his crime spree will continue.

EPS asks that if you see the suspect not to approach him, and if anyone can identify the suspect or the owner of the green Jetta, get in contact with EPs at 780-423-4567.
