Winning Lotto Max ticket, worth $70M, sold in Alberta

A $70 million winning lottery ticket was sold in Alberta, according to the Lotto Max draw on Tuesday night.

The Western Canada Lottery Corporation confirmed that the winning ticket was sold somewhere in the province. Although where the ticket was sold is not known, it’s confirmed to not be in the cities of Edmonton or Calgary.

However, the Lotto Max second prize was sold in Calgary, with the lucky winner entitled to $284,899.

The winning numbers were 2, 9, 10, 14, 42, 43, 44, with the bonus number being 25.

As for the Maxmillion prize, it was won by two players in Ontario who will each be taking home $500,000.

No other information on the grand prize winner is available at this time.
