There was an armed robbery at a convenience store in Edmonton earlier this month.
On January 5, just before midnight, two suspects entered the store at 89 Street and 118 Avenue, with one suspect pulling out a gun and pointing it at the cashier, demanding money.
The second suspect threatened the cashier with bear spray before both suspects left the store with stolen merchandise and money from the till.
The first suspect is described as an Indigenous male standing at approximately 5’10”. He has a medium build and a light moustache, and during the robbery was wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, red and black ‘Echo’ sheos, and a New York Yankees toque.
The second suspect is described as a male about 5’10” with a white face covering, dark grey jacket, blue jeans, and black toque.
Police have released photos of the suspects in the hopes that someone could identify them. The suspects should not be approached, as they’re considered armed and dangerous.
