Record high temperatures recorded in Alberta

It was a warm end to the month, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC).

Throughout the entire province, over 110 locations reported record high temperatures on Tuesday. The warmest reported temperature in the province was in Irvine, with a daytime high of 17.2 C.

In Edmonton, a high of 10.6 C was recorded at the international airport. This is almost twice as high as the previous record which had been set back in 2009.

As for Calgary, there was a high of 14.5 C recorded in the city, with the last record high being 9.8 C back in 2022.
