Fort Sask book sale raising funds for Kids with Cancer

Next month a book sale is coming to Fort Saskatchewan, raising money for a good cause.

On March 2 and 3, the Smiles from Spencer Foundation will be running the used book sale out of the Kanata Inn, with most brooks priced at $5 or less.

There are many types of books available, from non-fiction to children’s books, and even some literary classics, with each dollar from the sale going towards the Kids with Cancer society.

The Smiles for Spencer foundation began back in 2010 and is named after Spencer Turner, who lost his battle with cancer the year before.

The sale begins at 10 a.m. on both days, with the sale ending at 4 p.m. on Saturday, and 5 p.m. on Sunday.
