The Great Canadian Trade Fair returns to Strathcona County

Next month the Sherwood Park and District Chamber of Commerce will be putting on their annual job fair.

This fair, called the Great Canadian Trade Fair & Sale, gives both employers and job seekers the opportunity to connect and discover career paths that best fit with their skills and goals.

The event takes place on April 12 and 13 at Millennium Place, with all job seekers being able to attend the event for free.

As for businesses looking to showcase at the fair, there’s a $50 booth cost and a registration sheet that needs to be filled out. This sheet can be found on the Sherwood Park and District Chamber of Commerce website.

The booth cost covers a skirted table, an electrical outlet, some drapes, and two folding chairs. The event also provides businesses with parking and free Wi-Fi.

There are also several rules and regulations. Upon request, businesses can bring animals to the show, but freebies like stickers and balloons are not allowed at the show.
