Leduc RCMP hosting open house, community barbecue

To celebrate National Police Week, Leduc RCMP will be hosting a free family friendly community event.

The open house will be taking place on May 14 from noon until 3 p.m. in the parking lot of the Leduc RCMP detachment.

There will also be a scavenger hunt, community barbecue, presentations from partner agencies, and tours of police vehicles and equipment. There will even be recruiting resources available for those interested in joining the RCMP.

“This event is an exciting opportunity for people of all ages to have fun and learn more about policing in our community, while getting a closer look at what we do here in Leduc,” says Constable Cheri-Lee Smith with Leduc RCMP. “We look forward to seeing you there.”

This community event is in partnership with Leduc & District Victim Services.
