Edmonton Transit Service (ETS) has kicked off their annual Football Park & Ride program, which is returning this weekend.
Edmonton Elks fans are now able to use their game-day tickets to access ETS to and from home games at Commonwealth Stadium all season long, with the program kicking off on Saturday.
The program begins 90 minutes before game time, with Park & Ride buses operating at Lewis Farms, the NAIT parking lots, the Nakî Transit Centre in St. Albert, and the Eaux Claires Lot.
“Bus Park & Ride Service has been replaced with the Valley Line Southeast at Davies Station. Riders can continue to park for free at Davies Transit Centre, but they can now take the train to Churchill Station and transfer to the Capital Line to Stadium Station, which is a short walk from Commonwealth Stadium. Game-day tickets will count as fare on the Valley Line Southeast,” wrote the City of Edmonton in a release.
Guests are encouraged to arrive early, with gates to Commonwealth stadium opening 60 minutes before game time.
The Elks return to the field on Saturday for their first pre-season game against the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
