13-year-old boy killed in Mill Woods Hit And Run

A senseless and tragic incident occurred yesterday morning in the Mill Woods area of Edmonton. A 13-year-old cyclist was travelling in the eastbound lanes of 34th Avenue near Mill Woods Road when he was struck by a vehicle that immediately fled the scene. The boy did not survive.

The suspect vehicle is a blue Mazda 3 sedan or hatchback with likely damage to the front driver side of the car. It is believed to be from the 2014 through 2018 model years as shown in the photo.
