Edmonton Elks unveil improvements to Commonwealth Stadium

Just in time for the 2024 CFL season, the Elks and the City of Edmonton have unveiled $2 million of improvements to Commonwealth Stadium.  These fan-facing and behind-the-scenes improvements are intended to enhance the fan experience.

The improvements include:

  • Rebranding of the season seat holder exclusive area as the Legends Club
  • Adding a family space in the West concession area
  • Moving The Brick Kids Zone to the Commonwealth Fieldhouse from Clarke Stadium
  • Refreshing Jackie Parker’s as an indoor-outdoor space with new screens and projectors
  • Enhanced game presentation through the use of new video production capabilities
  • Better Wi-fi and mobile connectivity
  • Renovated concessions, bringing the number of points serving both food and alcohol to 32
  • Faster, more reliable, and more secure point of sale equipment
  • Refreshing the look of all 22 suites and adding in-suite ordering from concessions
  • Refreshing the washrooms

Fans will get their first looks at the improvements at the home opener on June 8 versus the Saskatchewan Roughriders.  Tickets are available here.  Kickoff has been changed to 2pm so as not to conflict with Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final.
