L.A-bound Boeing jet operated by United Airlines loses landing gear wheel

Yesterday morning, a Boeing 757-200 jet operated by United Airlines lost a landing gear wheel during takeoff in Los Angeles, marking the second lost wheel incident this year.

The aircraft managed to land safely at Denver, and United Airlines reported no injuries in a statement.

The airline is currently investigating the incident, and the lost wheel has been recovered.

Despite these recent Boeing-related incidents, experts maintain that air travel remains safe, with incidents involving commercial aircraft declining in recent years.
