Fort Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce Farmers Market cancelled due to poor air quality.

The Air quality isn’t looking too great today, because of all the smoke, as of 12:40 PM, the air quality index is at 8 with highs risk

The air quality advisory from yesterday is still active. Wildfire smoke is causing or expected to cause very poor air quality and reduced visibility.

Air quality and visibility due to wildfire smoke can fluctuate over short distances and can vary considerably from hour to hour.

Because of the risk the Fort Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce Farmers Market has been cancelled. The announcement was made via the Chamber’s social media pages. They said that the well being of both vendors and and visitors are the top priority.
