RCMP looking for a man who allegedly assaulted several women in Edson and Hinton

Hinton and Edson RCMP are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man believed to be responsible for a series of unsettling incidents involving women in the area.

According to RCMP reports, the suspect is alleged to have approached several women from behind, forcibly pulled down their pants, and taken photographs. The incidents took place on [date] at two separate times in Hinton, Alberta, and at one location in Edson, Alberta.

The details of the incidents are as follows:

  • Hinton, Alberta: Around 9:00 AM and 9:30 AM
  • Edson, Alberta: Approximately 1:20 PM

The suspect is described as:

  • Male
  • Slim build
  • Approximately 5’11” tall
  • Weighing around 120 lbs
  • Wearing a black toque, light-colored hoodie, brown pants, black shoes with white soles, and a blue medical mask
  • Driving a dark-colored pickup truck

Hinton and Edson RCMP are investigating the events but are requesting assistance from the public to identify the assailant.

Anyone with information regarding the incidents are urged to call Hinton RCMP at 780-865-5544 or Edson RCMP at 780-723-8800.
