Linde, a global leader in industrial gases and engineering, is set to invest $2 billion in Fort Saskatchewan to build Canada’s largest clean hydrogen facility, which will also rank among the largest globally. The plant is expected to open by 2028 and will produce clean hydrogen while capturing over 2 million tons of CO2 annually.
This major project supports Dow’s Path2Zero initiative, aimed at achieving net-zero emissions. It will not only help reduce carbon footprints for various industries but also bolster Fort Saskatchewan’s role in sustainable development.
The facility is projected to drive significant economic growth for Fort Saskatchewan, including job creation and increased business activity.
