Strathcona County RCMP investigates threat at local school – Update 

Strathcona County RCMP have identified a 22-year-old man from a town east of Edmonton as the suspect responsible for a hate message found at a Sherwood Park elementary school on Monday.

RCMP say the suspect has been identified and that Heritage Hills Elementary School has been working closely with police since the incident.

Authorities have also confirmed that there is no credible risk to students or staff.

RCMP say the investigation is ongoing, and if anyone has any information, they are asked to contact investigators at 780-467-7741 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
