Police looking for the suspect of knifepoint robbery of southeast Edmonton convenience store

Police are searching for a man who allegedly robbed a convenience store in southeast Edmonton at knifepoint earlier this month.

Edmonton Police Services reported that the suspect entered the store on Ewing Trail SW and 101 Street around 3:43 a.m. on September 3. Armed with a knife, he demanded cash from the register before fleeing the scene.

Witnesses believe he drove away in a white 2009-2013 Toyota Corolla, which had a burned-out passenger-side headlight. Fortunately, no store employees or customers were injured during the incident.

The suspect is described as roughly five-foot-seven, weighing 150 lbs. He was wearing an undone plaid button up shirt with a navy-blue shirt underneath, grey jeans, a white hat, black running shoes, and a white bandana covering his face.

Anyone with information regarding the robbery or the suspect is urged to contact Edmonton Police.
