Allegedly suspicious man arrested in Strathcona County

On Sept. 19 at approximately 3:00 a.m., the Strathcona County RCMP Crime Reduction Unit located a suspicious male in the industrial area of Sherwood Park.

The man, identified as 51-year-old Denny Stephens, had multiple warrants for his arrest out of Edmonton for failing to comply with conditions. Police discovered break-in tools in his possession.

Stephens, a resident with no fixed address, has been charged with failing to comply with a probation order. Following a Judicial Interim Release hearing, he was released, with his next court date scheduled for Oct. 16.
