Strathcona County RCMP Crime Reduction Unit proactive patrol leads to two arrests 

Over the weekend, the Strathcona County RCMP Crime Reduction Unit conducted patrols in the area of Pembina Road and initiated a traffic stop involving a suspicious vehicle. During the interaction, officers noticed the occupants attempting to hide a small bag.

Both individuals were arrested, and a subsequent search of the vehicle revealed several imitation firearms, prohibited weapons, and a small quantity of drugs.

Leigh Ann Grace and Dean Kelly Tracey have been charged with possession of a controlled substance, unauthorized possession of a weapon, unauthorized possession of a motor vehicle, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. They have since been released from custody and are scheduled to appear in court on October 23.
