Former One Direction singer Liam Payne was found dead after falling from the third-floor balcony of the Casa Sur Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Local police said Payne, 31, suffered fatal injuries upon impact. Authorities were called to the hotel after reports of a man acting aggressively, potentially under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
An autopsy is underway as officials investigate the circumstances of the fall. Payne had previously spoken about his battle with alcoholism, sharing his sobriety journey in 2023. His representatives have not yet commented
