Two men injured at a stabbing in Londonderry Shopping Centre

Edmonton police say two men were injured during an altercation that escalated into a stabbing at the Londonderry Shopping Centre yesterday evening.

Officers were called to the centre, located at 68th Street and 137th Avenue, at around 5:30 p.m. According to police, the incident began when the two men were arguing, and one of them attempted to rob the other, leading to a physical confrontation.

It is unclear if both men were stabbed, but they were both taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The Edmonton Police Service took both individuals into custody, and charges are pending.
