On Jan. 20, there was a fire at the Telus World of Science (TWOSE) due to a faulty HVAC system. The building was evacuated and temporarily closed. Although there were no injuries or any significant damage, smoke filled around 40 per cent of the building making it unsafe for visitors. After being closed for 11 days, TWOSE officially reopened this past Saturday.
The Canadian Dollar is worth the lowest it’s been since 2003
Due to the U.S. tariffs, the Canadian Dollar significantly dropped in value. It’s now worth less than $0.68, which is the lowest it’s been since 2003.
