“It’s a dry cold”

While the wind has lightened and changed direction from north to east, it’s still rather chilly and the risk of frostbite is real.  There will be periods of light snow all day that will end late in the evening with a plug-in-the-car-worthy overnight low.  Clouds roll in for the back half of the week, and that brings with it a rise in temperature to just into the minus double-digits.  We’re looking at a sunny weekend and start to next week, but temperatures will continue to be about 10 degrees below normal.
