Vegreville has received a $90,000 grant from the Government of Alberta to add signage at key locations to improve navigation for visitors travelling to rural tourism events and amenities. The grant comes as part of Alberta’s Small Community Opportunity Program.

A stolen vehicle report led Vegreville RCMP to uncover a drug lab producing GHB, resulting in one arrest and the seizure of large quantities of illegal substances. On April 17, officers responded to a complaint about a suspicious vehicle in
